My passion begins with YOU.
At a very young age my parents could tell that I saw the world differently and expressed what I saw through art. As I grew older I continued to express my creativity by studying fine arts in both high school and university. In pursuit of mastering my artistic skills and creative eye, I attended the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) and later attended McMaster University to finish my fine art degree. I then attended Brock University in order to become a secondary Fine Art Teacher.
After working in many mediums (drawing, painting and printmaking) and successfully becoming an art teacher, I decided to use this knowledge to strengthen my photographic skills and portfolio. This small hobby grew into a passionate lifestyle. I willingly began photographing every event I could; I did not want to put my camera down and brought it everywhere (this is still true)!
Through photography I am able to candidly capture life and tell a story through frames.
